Early booking to avoid missing out!

December 8, 2019

Are you planning to come to the Yucatan Peninsula and spend some days in Bacalar, Tulum, Holbox or any of the tourism hotspots of the area? Think twice before trying to get late bookings at your arrival. Many companies will provide you with different type of service quality and focus. But many will not be able to avoid the crowds or will take you through the places without

At Nature Geek Squad, we decided that the best way to give you the vacations you deserve, while having a treat of the nature, our food and culture in a family or friend - like atmosphere while accompanying us in our favourite spots. This is how we created Nature Geek Squad.  Everything started with our private tours. Linda, my wife and I, had a vision. We want everyone to see the natural wonders of the Yucatan Peninsula, the Riviera Maya while having everything taken care of while promoting sustainable activities.

After 3 years of planning and taking care of the people who have given us their thumbs up, and left some incredible reviews, we decided to give everyone a chance to come, without paying such high prices. We created our non - private group tours. Our staff :    Nature Geeks

We visited so many places with our guests, including the Sian Ka'an Biosphere Reserve, at places not well known to everyone, but also to the most well known spots, where dolphins, turtles and manatees live freely. We observed flamingoes in Ria Lagartos, Holbox and Ria Celestun, visited the underworld to snorkel, swim or walk through caves, crevaces, cenotes and fresh water holes. We snorkeled in different spots of the Coral Barrier Reef, even dove with sharks, into a deep hole, a sunken ship in Cozumel and met the real Mayan people. So much fun and so many people that are now in our minds and hearts. From kids to elder people from all over the world. We really love this job.

Nowadays I, Dario, spent Sundays, Mondays and a couple more days in that Biosphere Reserve mentioned last paragraph. Sian Ka'an, named by the Maya the place where the sky was born (also recorded as "gift from heaven"). This location, south of Tulum, allows me to register local fauna on one of the most beautiful locations on the coastline , on a boat tour between mangroves, to observe crocodiles, bird species and other wildlife, that can be spotted there. These non private tours in groups of up to 12 people, with up to 3 languages on my groups, are astonishing. Some days, if you are lucky, you might spot some of the fauna that lives there. But turtles and dolphins!! Almost always there. Playing, feeding, living life freely. If you want me to show you this place, only the way I can show it to you, try this option.

On the other hand, if you want to be taken on a private tour, which are our specialty tours, we can customize your adventure, taking care of all of your group. Try this option to the spidermonkey reserve, to canoe, zipline, visit a cenote and participate in a Mayan ceremony, while looking for fauna. Visit the ruins of Coba then at sunset, after lunch with a real Mayan family, part of a melipona stingless bee keeping group and leaders in sustainable activities.

Whether you book a private tour to be able to customize your experience, have more flexibility on all your activities, avoid being rushed around and the crowds, or: you book a non private tour, with lower prices, less time on the tour, and enjoying other travellers company while having a multilingual guide with you, we provide unique and high quality experiences for everyone. If you come to Tulum and did not come with Nature Geek Squad, you missed out on some cool fellas in Tulum, Mexico.
